2. Participate in Individual Teacher Training
Dedicate 3-8 hours to personalized teacher training sessions designed to enhance your skills and confidence.
3. Shadow Classes
Shadow other experienced trainers to listen, watch, and learn. Observe classes closely to understand the flow and dynamics. Take notes on teaching techniques and client interactions. Gain insights into their methods and apply them to your own practice. Participate in shadow classes to gain real-time experience and feedback. (Note: You will not be compensated for participating in Shadow Classes)
4. Practice Routine Writing
Compose routine essays that incorporate prompts to effectively transition clients into movements, honing your instructional skills.
5. Create Sample Routines
Develop a file with sample routines tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels to facilitate structured learning.
6. Design Your Own Routines
Write and implement your own routines, enhancing your creativity and teaching style.
7. Record and Reflect
Speak your routine aloud while practicing on the machine. Record your instructions, then listen to your voice at home for self-improvement.
8. Conduct Mock Classes
Practice teaching in mock sessions to build confidence and refine your skills.
9. Co-Teach When Necessary
Collaborate with fellow trainers to co-teach and share insights.
10. Trainer-in-Training Communication
Send an encouraging email to trainers in training, providing details on their progress and upcoming expectations.
11. Track Your Class Count
Celebrate milestones as you approach your 20-class countdown. Once you have completed the 20 classes, please text Eva or Marcus to let them know.
12. Get Support in the WhatsApp Group
Introduce yourself in the studio WhatsApp Group, supporting the group’s purpose to enhance your training experience and add inspiration and love to the team culture. Access the group for ongoing support and communication among peers. If you are unable to teach a class that you are scheduled for, you need to send a sub-request via WhatsApp and it is every trainer’s responsibility to respond in the group. The class is still your responsibility until you have found someone to sub. Once a trainer has agreed to sub a class for you, It is their responsibility to change the name in Walla. If you cannot find a sub for your class, then you MUST let Marcus and Eva know via text or phone.
